Miguel Vacas
Software Engineer | First Street Foundation
I work with JavaScript, HTML+CSS, PHP and Golang, as well as have worked with some minor DevOps and Continuous Integration.
My passion is generally focused around the arts and music, in particular. I started in Jazz Music, then switched to Marketing, and worked with startups in Puerto Rico at a non-profit for 3 years, and switched to Web Development when I participated of a HTML, CSS and JS course at a boot camp in Puerto Rico called Codetrotters. And after that, never looked back.
I think taking time to help out others is essential and a great way to learn help out the community as well as staying up to date in the web development world. At Codetrotters, I was lucky to be a TA for 3 other courses and felt it was fulfilling.
